Several years ago ( in 2008!), we identified Hendra as a suburb with untapped potential. With its close proximity to Brisbane's CBD and a community ripe for development, we saw an opportunity to make a significant impact. Our approach was two-fold: to enhance the local area through thoughtful development and to achieve substantial capital gains in the process.
Our first project in Hendra was a bold move. We purchased a property that many saw as a gamble. However, with a clear vision of what could be achieved, we were confident in our decision. We focused on creating a development that not only met the market demand but also preserved the charm and character of Hendra. Our commitment to quality and sustainability was at the forefront of our design and construction processes.
The result was beyond our expectations. Not only did we more than double our capital gains, but we also set a new standard for property development in the area, achieving a street record on the sale of the property. This success was not just in financial terms but also in the positive feedback we received from the community and the industry. Our project was recognised as a benchmark for how property development should be approached in Hendra and nominated for a Master Builders Award in the process.
This journey has not been without its challenges. Navigating the complexities of property development, dealing with regulatory requirements, and ensuring we remained true to our vision required a relentless commitment.
